BRANDI SHALLENBERGER

Director/Cinematographer/Photographer/Editor
Brandi has spent her life as a creative, whether in her decades in the world of dance, to her photography education (BFA), to her love for film and storytelling. Her diverse life experiences as a wedding photographer, skydiver, face painter, dance teacher, stage manager, (you name it!) shows her chameleon nature. This strength is centered by her love for humankind, and the stories we all have to tell. Brandi started working with owner Ashkan Roayaee in 2017 after teaching he and his now wife their first dance for their wedding, and has spent years as a cinematographer, photographer, editor, and director developing Ashkan Media into a creative video powerhouse. Authenticity, growth, and new experiences is what drives her.

WILLIAM BYRNE

Cinematographer/Editor
William Byrne is a cinematographer and editor. His love for the craft started at a very young age when his parents left him in front of display TV playing Jurassic Park at a Best Buy. Since that moment he’s dedicated his life to the art of storytelling. With his education in musical theatre and his BSA in digital cinematography, William has been honing these skills for years. His love for documentaries, and helping tell other peoples stories is very prevalent in his body of work. William is driven by the love of the art and the satisfaction of sharing stories with any audience.

CHRISTOPHER POE

Cinematographer/Photographer/Editor
Christopher Poe is a cinematographer and editor whose love for storytelling began at a young age, inspired by following his older brother, watching movies, and creating short films. It's no surprise that cinematography soon became his passion. During his college years at Concordia University in Austin, where he earned a degree in Kinesiology and played basketball. He rediscovered his calling in 2017 when he picked up the camera again. Now, as an experienced cinematographer. Christopher has been developing his skills over the years, striving to create visually compelling narratives. He loves capturing documentary style and sports.
